England dominated the first day of play against Ireland at Lord’s on Thursday, led by Stuart Broad’s fifer and half-centuries from Zac Crawley and Ben Duckett. Ireland were bowled out for 172 before the hosts got a quick start and reached stumps on 152 for 1, behind by only 20 runs.
