Kohli reveals about MS Dhoni’s message on the RCB podcast

MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli have a very close relationship, and Kohli has frequently discussed how important the legendary wicketkeeper-batsman has been to him personally and professionally. On the RCB Podcast, Kohli discussed a text message Dhoni had sent him during a difficult time in his career and how it changed the course of his performance.
At the current T20 World Cup, Virat Kohli has been in outstanding form, scoring three half centuries. He led India to an unlikely victory against Pakistan with a game-winning knock of 82 runs. But it’s crucial to remember that earlier this year, the master batsman, Kohli, went through a rough patch in which he struggled to score runs. When he resigned as the Test captain in January of this year, MS Dhoni was the only person to text him, Kohli said during the Asia Cup this year.
After almost three years of waiting, Kohli finally recorded his 71st international century against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup.
Kohli said that the only person who genuinely reached out to him was MS Dhoni. Kohli says that he considers it a blessing to know that he has such a strong bond and a great relationship with someone who is so senior to him. He also said it is a friendship that is based on a lot of mutual respect.
When the captain of the 2011 World Cup-winning team texted him, Kohli claimed it had a significant impact on him. The star batter disclosed that Dhoni had said that if someone is strong and confident, people tend to forget to inquire about their well-being.
